i was in fear,
but i still praise You Lord,
for You are above fear.

i was in confusion,
but i still worship You Lord,
for confusion is beneath You.

i was lost,
but i still trust in You,
for i know i will be found.

i was hurt,
but i still love You Jesus,
for You've loved me.

i was exhuasted,
physically,mentally and in sickness,
but i still press on, God,
for You are my strength.

i will love my people,
even if they don't love me,
for You've loved me,
even when i didn't know You.

i've given my best,
but i will give You my all,
for You've given me everything.

almost emotionally dead,
but i will live on,
for You've died for me.

pure love that was nailed to a cross by hammers of mockery,
ungratefulness and unbelief,
that pure love is no longer i, but He who lives in me.

You are my life.
