According to GLOBAL TRACK CHART which is an aggregate of various charts across the globe (Billboard, Oricon, etc.), TVXQ’s Best Selection 2010 album had the top sales globally for week 9 of 2010 by moving 413,000 units. Number 2 was Sadé – Soldier Of Love which moved 289,000 units and Number 3 was Lady GaGa – The Fame (Monster) which moved 187,000 units.



TVXQ also accomplished the first splendid achievement as an Asian male artist. No other Asian artist sold so many pieces of albums in the history of Japan. Japan is the second largest market after the USA.
and they broke many many records in the Oricon chart which big stars like Michael Jackson and Elton John held and is the first Asian artists to be in the Oricon chart No. 1 and broke so many records everytime they come out with an album.
but fans didnt reach their target.
TVXQ korea fanclub Cassiopeia and japan fanclub Bigeast tried to do a project with fans from rest of the world together to make a new record of 500k album sold but, haa, still got 87k albums more, owell, this is a very good result already.
maybe the next album they come out would get 500k.

but, wa kao, Cassiopeia got 1million over members, Bigeast also got over 500k members, each person buy 1 album can already, got money join fanclub no money buy album. =x
haha ok im being unrealistic.

well i dont have so much money to buy all of their previous albums but, at least im getting the best selection 2010 which have their selections of songs from the past.

& the reason why i was into kpop so long till now was because of DBSK!
2 years since im into kpop.
in 2008 i was crazy with SS501 first cause of the drama Boys Before Flower.
SS501's leader acted as Yoon Ji Hoo,
kyaaa i wanna be geum jan di too!!!!!!
4 absolute handsome and rich with authority older brothers who takes good care of you and 1 as a boyfriend/husband!
i've always wanted to have an older brother and not be the eldest in the family.

and i thought SS501 did very good accapella, that wasnt for long until i came across DBSK.
both of them are accapella and pop dance group but
SS501 is still not good enough compared to DBSK's.
accapella and dance wise.
their latest album's song Green Peas totally showed the flaw.
but i still like that song though, happy and lively. =D
not that DBSK's accapella is perfect but are there any group which sings accapella
so well and is also a pop dance group?
well japan group The Gospellers can do really good accapella but no pop dance. haa =x
but the most important thing is that they all can sing to save their lives and survive whether they do accapella or not.

but DBSK has disappeared from the korean music scene since the second half of 2008 due to JaeChunSu sueing their company SM Entertainment.. =(
and now it's already 2010 and the controversy is still not settled =(
but they still rock the music industry even though they're only in Japan. =D
they got the "Best Asian Star" award in 2009 in Korea for Mnet Asian Music Awards even though they didnt even appear in Korea at all in 2009 and is already a top singer or on par with Arashi in Japan.
Arashi is the longest surviving group in Japan, from 1999 till now, 2010 and has a very big fanbase in Japan.

so, on searching around net for more SS501 news, i saw DBSK's live performance on youtube and i was so attracted to their singing skills and their voices, especially junsu's, that's why he's my favourite member, cause i think he's got the best voice and can sing like hell.



and so i jumped ship to DBSK and is still a fan now. lol.

very few idols can sing live better than recorded CD, and they broke the mindset that idols can only look good, handsome or pretty but unable to sing.
and they have grown from just being young good looking idols to true artist with ability.

even though they're all good looking, but only 1% eh?

i thought my fandom for them is just going to be for a while till the k-fever subsides, but good singers are always worth the support.
i've supported jay chou since his debut in year 2000 k!
year 2000, when i was in primary 5, 11 YEARS OLD, the first chinese album that i heard and had was his and then listened only to chinese songs only and is a fan from then on.

before that i was listening to english albums, you know, spice girls, backstreets boys, westlife lol =.=
other idols like energy, fahrenheit, lollipop, ice cream girls, hei se hui mei mei, yao yao, after their hype as a new face is over, it's really over.
well they can do MCing like 5566, acting like fahrenheit, dancing like energy and lollipop, i dont know what hei se hui mei mei, ice cream girls and yao yao came out for but they all debuted as singers for their profession, come out with CDs and have concerts, but they cannot/wont be able to sing to keep their job as singers when singing is their main job.

anyway 5566 and energy has disbanded liao. haaa.
well 5566 has talents and can sing i dont know why they died. haa =x
bad company management? but i remembered their company is as good as SM entertainment last time.
well at least renfu is still surviving as an MC to feed his family with his talent to talk, witty like heechul and leeteuk haha.
if super junior dies, heechul and leeteuk can still survive with their mouth, by talking, lol.

even though jay chou doesnt exactly fit the word handsome but,
talents and all is enough for me to support him for 10 years.

now DBSK's gonna conquer with their voices!!!
